Jack was born to William Hansel Drawdy and Iva Lee Long Drawdy on Dec.9,1937.How it must have been a special moment for the two of them as I'm sure it was for all the friends and family that surrounded them.Jack grew up a normal boy in the lowcountry of South Carolina,where he had several friends who remained so until his last days.Jack was forunate to have other siblings come along later.Jack inlisted in the Airforce  with one of his friends,(Bill Johnson).He had to get his birth certificate so they had to change his birth date to Nov. 9 so he and Bill could leave at the same time.Jack was stationed in Chicago Ill.,where he met another good friend (Bob Knight).Jack served his country for 2 years when he got an honoral discharge.When he came home he met a lovely lady they called Dot.They were married on Sept.17,1960.On Jan.2 1962 they were blessed with a little girl they named Caryl cause she was due around christmas.13 months later they had another child,a boy this time they named Hank,cause Jack loved Hank Williams.Another child was born in Nov.of 1964,a girl they named karen,his pet.(just kidding). 8 grandchildren flooded his house at times,along with 2 sweet greatgrans.                                       Jack and Dot was married for 47 years.Two years before that Jack was diagnosed with cancer,but he new that if he died that he would be with Jesus and if he stayed Jesus would be with him.Jack passed away on March 17,2008.Jack aka Podge will
